Dastidar Lab

Dr Somasish Ghosh Dastidar is an Associate Professor and a former DBT-Ramalingaswami Fellow at the Center for Molecular Neurosciences, Kasturba Medical College, MAHE, Manipal. The Dastidar lab focuses on solving mechanisms behind the etiology of Age-related disorders (such as Parkinson’s and ALS) with a commitment to identifying therapeutic targets. We have identified several small molecules, phytopharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals as Neurotherapeutic agents. The lab collaborates on Major Depressive Disorder, NeuroMelioidosis, and Rare Genetic Disorders. The Dastidar lab is equally invested in offering consultation services.
